Finding a therapist you can start your journey of healing with can be a daunting endeavour.  Thank you for considering me as part of this process. Here is some information about me as a therapist that might guide you in making your decision. 


I am a registered Clinical Psychologist skilled in a variety of treatment modalities. My therapeutic approach is grounded in mindfulness based philosophy and further informed by psychodynamic theory, mentalisation based therapy and more recent waves of cognitive behavioural therapy.


You can read more about my therapeutic focus areas below but you probably also want to know a little bit about what I'm like before you get in touch: I'm warm, welcoming, compassionate and caring. I'm experienced and patient, passionate and present, committed, curious and creative. I can shift flexibly between being an active listener (because sometimes we just need a witness to our pain) and being more directive in sessions. I'm happy to do short term work, but find that the most enduring life changes happen in more established therapeutic relationships over a longer period of time.
