INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR ADULTS AND ADOLESCENTS
This involves face to face, one on one therapy. The first few sessions would be focused on getting a sense of what your needs in therapy are and how we can go about working with those needs. Based on the initial assessment, your therapy would then be fine tuned with regards to the duration of your therapeutic process, the frequency of sessions and the modality or approach which would be best suited to your needs.
Sessions are 5o minutes each and we are likely to meet once a week.
This involves face to face therapeutic engagement in a group context. As with individual therapy, the first two sessions are focused on getting a sense of what your needs in therapy are and which sort of a group would best address those needs. Groups typically consist of between 8 and 10 individuals who are struggling with similar issues. Some groups are quite structured (almost like a workshop) and follow a set timeline while others are more flexible and process-based. Some of the structured groups also have an online support forum for those currently enrolled in the groups to ask questions based on the week's theme.
We meet once a week for a 50 minute session.
